Its Function
This will delete the message for you and the recipient, as it never was. If you send a message that you regret or fear later, you can delete it before that person sees it. If the other user has already read your message due to some unfortunate heart attack, you will not be able to completely erase the memory of receiving the message, you will not be able to delete the screenshots of the message, but you will get a narrow feeling every time you look at it. Your conversations.
There is an attractive rage about deleting live messages on Instagram and unfortunately, there is no way to delete personal messages all at once, so you have to do every message in a painful way.

Yes, the only way to delete all messages from both users’ inboxes is to block the person you are chatting with. This is the only weird way to make sure none of you can see the conversation.
Doing this very rough step is paradoxical and quick and easy. Go to the profile of the person you want to block, tap on the three dots at the top right of the screen, and then click Block.
Aside from deleting all the messages you send to each other, it also removes all likes and comments from this person. Blocking them on Instagram is tantamount to blocking Facebook users, and doing so means you no longer have to deal with them. So, if you want to delete all the messages with those who want to disconnect, and they do not want to contact you again, this is definitely the way to go.
How to delete entire conversations from your inbox
You can delete entire conversations at once. This means that you need to repeat the deletion process rather than once per conversation. It is very labor-intensive, but a little more convenient than texting one at a time.
Here are the steps to delete the entire conversation:
- Tap the Inbox button in the upper right corner of your home screen.
- Select the conversation you want to delete. Drag to the left.
- Press Delete.
After you do this, the conversation will be deleted from your inbox. But don’t forget that the other person has access to the full conversation. You can not delete their copy, only yours!
Now, if all you need to do is get rid of some conversations, you can use the search function to find those conversations (just like on Facebook again) instead of scrolling through your entire DM inbox. You can type the person’s name in the search bar at the top of your screen to find and delete the conversation with him or her.

How To Delete All Messages On Android With Auto Clicker
As mentioned earlier, Instagram has no official way to delete all messages and conversations on Instagram. But, if you are an Android user, there is a way to delete all your messages on Instagram through a tool called Auto Clicker.
This tool allows me to automate repeated taps and swipes on any app or screen on our Android. Although this process may seem a bit cumbersome and intimidating at first, once I get there on time the whole process will be much easier as described in various online guides.
Steps:
- Launch the Instagram app from our device.
- Launch the Auto Clicker app.
- Tap “Start” under Multiple Target Mode. Doing so can earn multiple points for tapping with a delay between taps.
- Go to our live message screen on Instagram, and then tap and hold the green “+” icon to create a swipe point.
- Drag the swipe point to the first conversation in our DMs, and then move the second circle to the first circle. If so, we command you to press and hold the Auto clicker.
- Press the circle to bring up the configuration dialog for this swipe; Set the delay to 1000 milliseconds and the swipe time to 1000 milliseconds.
- On Instagram, click on the first dialog to move the process to reality so I can see where the next taps are. I will see the context menu appear. Then, press the “+” icon to add a tap point and drag the tap point to the context menu line that reads “Delete”. It becomes tap points 2 and 2 in the circle.
- On Instagram, click on the Delete line to move the process again. The Confirmation menu will pop up next. To create a tap point 3, click on the “+” icon and drag the tap point to the appropriate position.
- Tap Cancel to delete this conversation.
- Tap the gear icon and name this tapping script (configuration). Save the script, now I can run this command repeatedly for hundreds or thousands of repetitions automatically and without human error.
- Press the blue run arrow to execute our script.
Hint: I can disable the Auto Click application interface by disabling the Auto Click application on the home screen.
After I try to use it, I will realize that the Auto clicker is a very powerful and diverse technology and I can use it in many ways beyond Instagram. Try to play with it and I will find many uses for it and many opportunities offered by this powerful program-created program.
Bottom Line
Currently, these are just some of the options available to delete messages from our Instagram Direct Message Inbox. Since Instagram has not yet provided the feature, it is definitely convenient to have the Mass Select option and they are looking forward (to the future!). If I plan to delete your inbox soon, and unfortunately, I am rooted in a long conversation list, all I can really do at this point is wait patiently, because the process is laborious and time-consuming.
If I want to make sure that all the messages exchanged between me and some people are good, the only way is to block them. Now, I can automatically delete Instagram live messages, but currently, the app is only available to Android users. This app speeds up manual deletion, so I can delete conversations all at once.
