Emergency iOS update on old iPhone, company request to install immediately

Apple has introduced security updates for older iPhone and iPad devices. Although the company’s latest devices have the facility to update the new operating system, the security risks on the old iPhone were found to be continuous.

The company has released an emergency update for devices unable to support post-iOS 12 operating systems. The company urges users to download and install this update as soon as possible.

Security vulnerabilities found on the iPhone a few months ago allowed various malicious websites to engage in a cross-site scripting, allowing access to other apps and sensitive data.

Apple has actively exploited the vulnerability in its security support document.

The company recently introduced the iOS 12.5.4 Emergency Update with three security fixes available for these devices.

iPhone 5s
iPhone 6
iPhone 6 Plus
iPad Air
iPad mini 2
iPad mini 3
iPod touch (6th generation)

If you have these devices and are trying to update the security, go to the Settings app, go to General Software Update and tap on Download.
