For many users, Google has removed its support for Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, and many other popular apps. Now, these popular apps are not working on millions of Android smartphone devices. After the removal of this support, users are no longer able to sign in to these apps.
Google apps are not working in smartphones that are working on Android 2.3.7 or less. The version of this operating system was launched by the company in December 2010.
The company has said in its statement that in order to keep users safe, Google will not allow users to not sign-in on Android devices running Android version 2.3.7 or less. When you sign in to these apps after September 27, you will get a username or password error.
The company said that users will not be able to sign in on Google’s products like Gmail, YouTube, and Maps. Apps that will be disabled on these devices include YouTube, Google Play Store, Google Maps, Gmail, Google Calendar, and other Google apps.
Google has asked users to update their devices to Android 3.0 or above to use these apps. If users do not update their Android version, then they will have trouble signing these apps.
Users using Sony Xperia Advance, Lenovo K800, Sony Xperia Go, Vodafone Smart II, Samsung Galaxy S2, Sony Xperia S are not able to use these apps on their devices. These apps are also not working on LG Prada 3.0, HTC Velocity, HTC Evo 4G, Motorola Fire, and Motorola XT532.
