Google says all ‘high quality’ photos and videos backed up before June 1 will not be covered by 15GB of storage. However, Google Pixel subscribers worldwide will be able to continue their free Unlimited Google Photos Cloud Backup after June 1st. This means that if photos and videos taken after June 1 exceed 15GB, you’ll need to purchase a Google One subscription. Or you may need to regularly delete photos and videos from Google Photos to free up storage, which is really a problem.

This problem will not be seen in the user’s Google cloud storage in May. By the end of May, customers will be able to upload all ‘High-Quality pictures unlimited. Google says, ‘Any high-quality images uploaded before June 1 will not be covered by 15GB of storage. This means that all photos and videos uploaded in May are outside the scope of this storage.

Customers can upload images up to 16 megapixels in Google Photos’ ‘High-Quality option. In the case of video, 1080p quality is uploaded to Google Photos’ ‘High-Quality option.
