So, this feature allows you to revisit your memory as if it was taken back to the moment you clicked on the image. Simply put, it displays a simple image in 3D from your gallery, even if the original image lacks in-depth information.
It uses machine learning to visualize the depth of the image and create a 3D representation of the scene. Following this, the app uses a virtual camera to add smooth panning motion to the image. It creates a 3D cinematic effect for a 2D image at any time. Below you will find a sample from Google.

Google Photos will automatically create images when the feature goes public next month. Tap on your profile photo and go to “Settings -> Memories -> Advanced -> Toggle movie photos on/off” and you can definitely turn it off if you want.
On top of that, Memories presents the most important people in your life right now and soon it will show you your favorite activities hiking and cycling. Additionally, you can now block certain people and time from the settings window to avoid a collage of very annoying images in your gallery.
