Analyst Ming Chi Kuo said that the camera system of the iPhone lineup, which will be unveiled in 2022, will undergo extensive changes. According to him, the 48-megapixel camera can be seen in the high-end model of the iPhone, especially in the primary sensor of the Pro range.

According to him, the iPhone that will be made public in 2023 will have a Face ID sensor at the bottom of the screen, which will replace the sensor at the notch of the screen. A 48-megapixel camera is nothing new for Android phones but it will be also available on new upcoming iPhone Model.

Android phones have been using 48 megapixel sensors for years. But the iPhone’s sensor is said to be still large. According to Kuo, the upcoming iPhone will have 1.25 micro meters pixels with 1 / 1.3 inches.

Earlier, the iPhone 12 Pro Max had a pixel size of only 1.7 micro meters. According to Kuo, when the 12-megapixel photo sensor is used, the current iPhone will use a pixel size of 2.5 micro meters.

He also estimates that the phone will have high resolution sensors for ATK video. In addition, from 2022, the company will reduce the small screen size option of the iPhone.
