Most of the app users are facing problems
According to Down detector, most of the reports of Instagram being down were related to apps. About 44 percent of complaints were made by app users, while 39% of server connection and 17 percent of the website down complaints were received.
There is no comment from Meta on the platform being down yet. Meta is the parent company of WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook. Hundreds of Indian users have complained about Instagram being down. According to Down Detector, most users were having trouble accessing the app.

The complaint about Instagram being down increased at around 10 am on Wednesday and by 12 o’clock several thousand users have been troubled by it. Complaints about Instagram being down in India are coming from almost all the big cities. Users were complaining about this on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
