PUBG ban in India – The Government of India has banned PUBG Mobile. In such a situation, soon the Android and iOS users will not be able to play PUBG games on mobile. But these games can be played on desktops and laptops. Actually PUBG has two apps. This app is PUBG Mobile and PUBG. The PUBG game was first created by a South Korean company for a particular computer. Meaning it was a computer game, which was about 2GB in size. This PUBG game can be used in India even after the ban. But the use of PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile lite will be restricted.
Know the difference between PUBG and PUBG Mobile
The gaming business of both PUBG and PUBG Mobile is quite different. PUBG is formed by South Korean company PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of South Korean video game company BlueWhale. The game was released globally in December 2017. But China did not allow the PUBG game. For this, PUBG Corporation used the local gaming company of China, Tencent Company. Let us know that Tencent is a Chinese company, which has made PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite games. Both of these gaming apps PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite made by Chinese companies have been banned in India. Tencent company has made PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite games under the license of a South Korean company.
The decision was taken due to national security
The Indian government has banned 118 Chinese apps including PUBG mobile on Wednesday in view of national security concerns. This is not the first time that Chinese apps have been banned in India, but the government had earlier banned 57 Chinese apps on June 15, after which 47 apps were banned.
