Some Apple users who have pre-ordered the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max will find that their orders have been updated with shipping information, suggesting that their iPhone is on its way, but most deliveries are unlikely by November 13th.
Apple on Friday opened pre-orders for the last two models of the current iPhone generation, the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max, through the online Apple Store. First customers who place orders expect faster deliveries and Apple has announced that the models will be available on November 13th.
Delivery time slips start slipping as soon as they become available for purchase on both models, so not all customers will receive their orders on that date.
As with the pre-orders of the First Wave iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, users lucky enough to order faster are starting to see the updates. Many Reddit customers report export updates through systems run by Apple and its courier partners, with some claiming to have placed the order.
Some advice keeping their orders ready for export by November 13th. Regardless of whether it is shipped or manufactured, most users are unlikely to receive their iPhone orders before that time.
As with orders and other previous product launches, Apple works with partners to test and maintain a fixed release date for its products, meaning that deliveries are made primarily on or after Apple’s mandatory release date.
