WhatsApp said that this feature will work in both directions i.e. you can transfer chats from Android or iPhone or iPhone to Android on any switch.

Users’ chat history is end-to-end encrypted on their own devices. This means migrating chats is quite a technical issue with voice notes. WhatsApp said that for this it made it possible by working closely with the world’s largest handset makers and operating system makers.

With this feature, voice notes, photos, and conversations can be transferred to other operating systems in a secure way. Let us tell you that the chats of both iPhone and Android are stored on different clouds. Because of this, there is a problem in chat transfer when the operating system is changed. The new feature will transfer chats over a physical lighting cable and over a USB-C cable. That is, it will not be transferred through the Internet.
