If you want to pre-order the Xbox Series X or Series S, you have to wait a bit, because according to Microsoft all pre-orders sell out instantly.
According to Xbox chief Phil Spencer, all Xbox Series X and Series S pre-orders sold out instantly in India. Spencer spoke on the weekly talk show about the response he has received from a market like India.
Microsoft has been taking pre-orders for new Xbox consoles since September 22 and has been streaming pre-orders live through channels such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Reliance Digital. The Xbox Series X and Series S will be launched in India on November 10, the global launch date.
In contrast, Sony has not yet revealed any details about the launch of the PlayStation 5 or its arrival in India.
In an interview with Dropped Frames, Spencer said he had never sold consoles in similar markets before and that pre-orders were being sold in India.
Spencer comments that India is not a high-end market for gaming consoles, but India is one of the potential markets for Series X and S.
Spencer found that Microsoft had more pre-orders for new consoles from Japan than all consoles sold throughout the year. He did not provide specific numbers but said more orders were coming in as pre-orders for the new services went live last month.
