Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra & Snapdragon 865+ SoC Specification

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series has been part of the rumor mill for a long time, and previous reports suggested its launch in August. A tipster is now claiming that the ‘Ultra’ variant of the Galaxy Note 20 will feature an LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and QHD + resolution. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is also slated to come with “new camera function” and “new S Pen”. The tipster has further shared alleged live pictures of the front panel of the phone that look similar to the Galaxy Note 10+, which was launched in August 2019.

The development was shared on Twitter by a tipster known as Ice Universe on Friday. According to the Twitter post, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be powered by the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC. The post states that the phone will come with the new S Pen with the latest “features”. As mentioned, the tipster claims that the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Edition will sport an LTPO OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and QHD + resolution. Finally, the tipster’s latest Twitter post contained alleged live pictures of the phone’s front panel, but did not show its back panel. It is said that the phone will have a new “camera function”, unfortunately, the details are unknown.

Notably, the same tipster, last week suggested that the Vanilla Galaxy Note 20 come with a 60 Hz full-HD flat display and a “wide frame”. Previous reports have indicated that the series will also include the Galaxy Note 20+. Recently, it was reported that the Galaxy Note 20 series will come in Black, Copper, White / Gray and Mint Green color options. The three models are expected to see differences in camera and battery.
Samsung will likely unveil the next-generation Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 and 5G variants with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, along with the Galaxy Note 20 series via an online event on 5 August.
