Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Speed Leak indicates that it is not a real iPad Pro competitor

We usually see Samsung tablets as close iPad rivals and were expecting the upcoming Galaxy Tab S7 to be a fierce rival for the new iPad Pro (2020), but the leaked benchmark for the Android slate Tests suggests that this cannot happen.

As seen by the website NashvilleChutter, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is now listed on Geekbench’s record, a benchmark test site, where it appears to have returned a multi-core score of 12,945.
Looking at that score, we would say that it is the old Geekbench 4 (which was replaced by Geekbench 5 at the end of 2019, although the old test is still available), as Geekbench 5 has a very low score. This means that we can analyze scores more accurately by comparing instruments released before 2020.

A score of 12,945 will include several premium smartphones, including the best from 2019 as the top scores were around 11,000 for the iPhone 11 and Sony Xperia 1; However, it is embarrassing with the 2018 iPad Pro 12.9, which had a score of 18,104 – in fact, the two-year top-end iPad scores are nearly 50% better than Samsung’s new ones.
This suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 may very well be in terms of raw processing speed, it will not match the iPad Pro model.
Introduces the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus
Along with benchmark tests for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7, we also saw some new leaked renders for the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus, similar to the ‘base’ Tab S7 renders we had seen a few days earlier from the same source.
These blogs come from Pigtu, and basically feature the same slate as non-plus models, although it will be larger than its siblings in real life. However, there appear to be two front-facing cameras, either suggesting that Samsung has added a depth sensor to the front for better selfies and ARs, or that the company is designing a version of Apple’s Face ID system Many sensors are required.
We are expecting the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 to launch in early August, along with the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and perhaps some other products. Leaks and rumors have been coming in very thick lately, so stay tuned for more on the tablet.
