Elon Musk has suffered a major setback in India. New news has come about Elon Musk’s satellite internet company Starlink. Starlink’s Indian head Sanjay Bhargava has resigned. He was given this responsibility only a few months back and now he has suddenly resigned from the company.
It is believed that Sanjay Bhargava has resigned due to the Starlink license issue. However, he has told the reason behind this as a personal reason. Recently Starlink had informed that it has started refunding pre-booking payments in India.
Starlink is facing a lot of problems in India. It has been said by the government that the company had started pre-booking satellite internet in India without obtaining the necessary license.
Sanjay Bhargava has posted on LinkedIn about leaving the post. He has written in the post that he is resigning from the post of Country Director and Chairman of the Board of Starlink India due to personal reasons. His last working day was December 31. He has also requested privacy. He said that he will not comment on anyone, so respect his privacy.
Let us tell you that Sanjay Bhargava, the foundering employee of PayPal, was made the country director of the company by Starlink on 1 October. His resignation came after DoT had raised questions on Starlink sometime back.
DoT had said that the public should not subscribe to Starlink’s plan as it has not taken any permission to provide the satellite best internet service in the country. As long as it does not comply with the law, the government has banned its booking.
