Using iCloud

The first method is to make use of an iCloud backup. You should already have signed up for iCloud for this method to work. iCloud Photos should be enabled on your iPhone too. You need to use a computer for this method.
Follow these steps:
  1. Visit iCloud.com on your computer.
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
  3. Select “Photos” and click on “Albums.”
  4. Click on the “Recently Deleted” folder. You will be able to see the recently deleted photos here. Choose the ones you want to restore.
  5. Click on “Recover.”
Alternatively, you can factory reset your iPhone and restore it to the previous backup. The photos which you deleted after the last backup will now appear again in your Photos app.

Using iTunes

You can also use iTunes to recover permanently deleted photos from iPhone. This is a good option if you use iTunes to backup your iPhone data. You have to restore your iPhone with the backup on iTunes. This will override the data on your iPhone and restore the backup you have selected. Ensure that you do not have any newly clicked photos that you want to retain as those will be deleted. You need to use a computer for this method too.
Here are the steps to follow:
  1. Plug your iPhone to your computer.
  2. Open iTunes on your computer.
  3. Click on the iPhone icon on the upper left corner that represents your device.
  4. Click on “Restore iPhone” on the adjacent window.

Using a third-party app

You can also use a third-party app like MobiMover to restore only selected photos to your iPhone without having to reset it. You can do this via iCloud or iTunes.
Install the app on your computer and go to Settings > Restore from iTunes > Scan. From the deleted items, select the ones you want to restore and click “Recover.”
Alternatively, go to Settings > Restore from iCloud, and log in with your Apple ID and password. Follow the same steps as above and recover your deleted items.

Using the Recently Deleted folder

You can find your deleted photos in the Recently Deleted folder in your iPhone for a period of 30 days from deletion. Open the Photos app, and go to “Albums.” Find the “Recently Deleted” folder under it and tap on it. Select the photos you want to restore and tap “Recover.”
We have learned the methods of how to recover permanently deleted photos from iPhone. Use the one that best suits your needs. If you have a backup, the solution is easy, although it requires a complete override of your existing data. To avoid this hiccup, you can choose to use a third-party app.
