Apple is expected to offer four iPhone options in 2021, according to a new report from the Japanese site Mac OneCare, citing Chinese distribution network sources, who say the iPhone 13’s design will be similar to the iPhone 12.
The height and width of the four iPhone models are expected to be the same, but the thickness will increase to 0.26mm.
The rear camera unit size will increase by 0.9mm on all iPhone 13 models, with Apple switching to a “sapphire covering the entire camera unit” design. Like the iPod Pro 2020, the lenses are less likely to be in design, despite the dull camera bump.
Mac Ottakara believes that the iPhone 13 Pro could introduce sensor-shift optical image stabilization on iPhone 13 Pro.
On the front of the iPhone 13, the site indicates that the TrueDepth camera is “narrow” as the receiver moves to the edge of the case at the top of the display. This indicates that the line on the next-generation iPhone will be a little lighter.
This is the second time we’ve heard light or shallow rumors, so 2021 iPhone models may have a line of the same length but not the same height.
Other iPhone 13 rumors suggest that some models will get LTPO OLED displays with support for up to 120Hz up to date and will definitely have the fastest A15 chip. There is so much more to look forward to than the iPhone 13 in our dedicated roundup.
