Chinese smartphone company Oppo today launched another A-series smartphone, the Oppo A55 5G, in their domestic market. This phone comes with almost the same specifications as the Oppo A53 5G launched last December. The special features of the Oppo A55 5G include a waterdrop notch display, 10-watt fast charging, 5,000 mAh battery, MediaTek Dimension 600 processor, and triple rear camera. Price and availability of Oppo A55 5G
The Oppo A55 5G is priced at 1,599 Yuan, which is around Rs 16,000. This price is for the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage model of the phone. The phone can only be found in one storage. It comes with Rhythm Black and Brick Blue. It is not yet known when the phone will be launched in the global market outside China.
The Oppo A53 5G with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model was priced at 1,299 Yuan, which is equivalent to around Rs 14,600.

Specification of Oppo A55 5G
Dual SIM Oppo A55 5G phone has a 7.5 inch HD Plus LCD with a 90 Hz refresh rate. Its pixel resolution is 1800 × 720, screen to body ratio is 6.8 percent, pixel density is 279 PPI. Its display design is a waterdrop notch, which has an 8-megapixel front camera with an f / 2.0 aperture. The phone also uses a 2.2 GHz MediaTek Dimension 600 processor. It has Mail-G57 MC2 @ 955Mhz for graphics.
The phone will be available with an 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage option. Its storage can be expanded via a microSD card. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and faces unlock feature.

The Oppo A55 5G phone has three cameras on the back for photography. Its primary sensor is 13 megapixels with an f / 2.2 aperture. The other two cameras are a 2-megapixel macro sensor (f / 2.4) and a 2-megapixel portrait lens (f / 2.4). This camera is provided with an LED flash. The phone has a 5,000 mAh battery. Which will support 10-watt fast charging (5V / 2A). The phone will run on an Android 10 based ColorOS 8.2 custom interface.
