Waze now lets you send commands from your computer to your phone
VAZ, a mapping application owned by Google, now lets you send instructions from your computer to your phone.
In my brief test, its process was very simple (my personal phone is an iOS device).
Step By step procedure on how to send commands from your computer to your phone.
- First, log in to Waze on your phone
- Then log in to Waze on your desktop browser by scanning the QR code with your phone camera.
- Then use the browser to find out where you want to go and you look a button to save the direction in the app.
- Click that button and you will receive a notification from Waze on your phone.
- Tap that notification to enable directions on your phone.

Google Maps has been providing a similar feature for a number of years, so Waze is happy to finally take action. Vaz says Android and iOS users will receive instructions from the desktop sent to their phone.
Waze also adds the ability to view saved locations on the web. You do not have to manually type addresses for your home or your favorite coffee shop as long as it is saved in your Wage mobile app.
