WhatsApp is working on a new feature for group chats. In the latest version of Android’s WhatsApp beta app, ‘Mention Badge’ has been given, which will appear in group chats.
This feature has been made available in the 2.21.3.13 update of the WhatsApp beta app for Android. According to the report of WABetaInfo, they are not visible to the users yet. At present, the company is working on this feature and it can be released in the future.
WABetaInfo has said about this feature that as you will be mentored in a group, a new badge will be added to the group cell. Still, when a user is tagged in group chats, notifications are given from WhatsApp. In such a situation, it can be considered as an extension of this feature.
The report has also given information about the release of a new sticker pack. A sticker pack named Taters n Tots has been released for Android users.

Interested users can go to any chat and click on the sticker icon. After this, you can select the ‘+’ icon to download the new sticker pack. This sticker will first appear in the list of packs.
Let me tell you that WhatsApp is also working on a sticker shortcut for your keyboard. A new sticker shortcut will appear in the chat bar. This will show WhatsApp related stickers for any word or emoji typed in the chat bar.
