Apple is researching such camera technology, which can tell the temperature of the object in question. For this, the iPhone will determine the temperature through image processing.
According to a report, a newly patented application features a device that can monitor users’ health from devices including iPhones and iPads. Accordingly, camera attachment and image data processing for measuring temperature is related to measuring the temperature of any object.
The patent application states, “Considering the global nature of smartphones, smartphones can easily be used as a temperature measuring device through the use of attachments.”

The attachment described in words and shown in the picture looks like an oloclip lens system. Such attachments are not a permanent part of the camera but can be temporarily connected if the user wants to measure the temperature.
For example, it can be like a kind of camera attachment. Which can be a frame configured to connect to the camera. According to the report, the frame will be different from the mounting method for the lens. Which will be an important part of the temperature measurement process.
