Facebook has launched Holi-themed avatar stickers on Friday to celebrate the Holi festival online. These avatar stickers have already been made live on the mobile app and Messenger. The company said in a statement that these new stickers have been introduced to give people more options to express themselves during the festival.
The company said that in the last two weeks in India, more than 4 million people have posted more than 6.6 million posts and comments about Holi on Facebook. Holi will begin on 28 March Sunday and will end on the next day i.e. 29 March. Users can see these new stickers by clicking on the smiley button in the comment composer box. If you do not see the stickers, then update the latest version of the app.
How to use Holi themed avatar stickers on Facebook and Facebook Messenger:
- To do this, users must first create a new avatar by going to the comment composer box.
- For this, you will first have to go to the Comment Composer box and click on the smiley icon.
- After this, you have to go to the sticker tab and come here and click ‘Create You Avatar’. You can also see Avatar Creator by going to the Bookmarks section of the Facebook app.
- After this, you can create your avatar by selecting your skin tone and hair from here. As soon as the avatar is created. New Holi stickers will be visible in the sticker library.
- After this, you will be able to use them while commenting on Facebook posts or while using Messenger.
