Instagram New Feature Collab: Instagram is testing a new feature. Through this great feature, users will be able to connect with each other in Instagram feed and reel. Instagram has decided to name this feature Collab. If users accept this, they will be shown as an author, the content will be shared to their followers in their profile grid and feed, and both will see their shared response.
How collab works
The photo-sharing platform said in a blog post, India is among the two countries where it will be tested first. The company has also explained how it works. Under this, upload a feed post or create a reel as you normally would. When you’re at the end of your share screen, you’ll see the option to tag people.
Can invite each other
Clicking Tag people will now allow you to invite a partner by clicking Invite each other. You can now search for an account and add them as a partner Note that the account must accept your request.
Only public accounts that are gaining test experience can request ‘Colab’ sales co-authors. Once the account has accepted collaboration invites, they will be added to the tag screen and noted in the header of your post.
