New version of Amazon’s Reading Tablet Kindle Paperwhite launched in India, know the price
Amazon on Tuesday launched its next-generation reading tablet Kindle Paperwhite. The new Kindle Paperwhite has a 6.8-inch display and USB Type-C charging support. This 11th generation Kindle Paperwhite has been launched in two models – Basic Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition.
The price of the new Kindle Paperwhite has been kept at Rs 13,999. At the same time, customers will be able to buy Signature Edition for Rs 17,999. Both the models will be available in the Black color option. Pre-booking has been started for these.
The company has informed that customers who pre-book will get a Kindle credit of Rs 500. Shipping of the new Kindle Paperwhite will begin on October 27. The same, shipping for the Signature Edition will start from November 4.
Specifications of the new Kindle Paperwhite
The new Kindle Paperwhite has a 6.8-inch glare-free display. It is 0.8-inch bigger than the current model. It has the same pixel density as 300ppi. Along with this, there is also an adjustable warm light white-on-black mode. So that users can read comfortably both at night and during the day.
On the other hand, the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition also gets an auto-adjusting front light. This display automatically adjusts the brightness according to the ambient lighting. On the other hand, in terms of storage, 32GB of memory has been given in the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition. At the same time, the internal memory of the regular Kindle Paperwhite is 8GB.
According to the company’s claim, both the new models will give up to 10 weeks of battery life. For fast charging, there is support for USB Type-C charging. Wireless charging support has also been provided in the Signature Edition. The new Kindle interface will be seen in the new models.
