Bad News for WhatsApp users! Removed the Messenger Room feature
WhatsApp, the proprietary messaging platform owned by Facebook, is removing the feature called Messenger Room
WhatsApp is as active as any other social networking site in adding new features to its platform. But now it is known that they are going to remove a practiced feature of theirs by walking in the opposite direction. Note that in the second half of last year, a feature called Messenger Room was added to this instant messaging platform owned by Facebook, keeping in mind the emergency and house arrest situation. Comes with a video calling facility with a maximum of 50 people without Facebook ID. However, this feature is no longer available.
WhatsApp Messenger Room can no longer be used
Until now, some selected WhatsApp users could use Messenger Room from mobile, web, or desktop applications. However, a recent report from WABetaInfo states that the WhatsApp Messenger Room shortcut has been removed from the chat share sheets of both iOS (beta version 2.21.190.11) and Android (beta version 2.21.19.15) versions of the app.
The company seems to have decided to disable this feature mainly because the feature was not used much. Now users will see only options like ‘Document’, ‘Camera’, ‘Gallery’, ‘Audio’, ‘Location’, ‘Payment’ in the attachment section of the chat.
WhatsApp will be adding this feature soon
It is already known that WhatsApp is working on a feature called ‘Transcription Voice Message’. It is currently being tested on the iOS platform, but in the coming days, Android users of WhatsApp will be able to enjoy its benefits. With the help of this feature, voice messages will be copied in text format.
