Meanwhile, many Indian apps are getting a lot of support by the people here. One such app is Roposo. This app is considered to be a competitor of TicketLock. The special thing is that the government engagement platform MyGovIndia is also part of it.

Roposo is an Indian video-sharing platform where users share videos and images. This app was released on 19 November 2014 and the latest version of the app has been released on 10 June 2020. This app is present on both Android and iOS platforms. This app is available in 10 Indian languages and has 25 channels. This app has been designed keeping in mind the age of 15-35.

The app was acquired by InMobi’s Glance in November 2019. At the same time, on August 15, 2016, Apple featured Roposo in their Indian Independence Day Special Edition. The headquarters of this company is in Gurugram. Through this app, users can record videos, add effects, watch videos and also do various types of editing. This app was prepared by three students of IIT Delhi.

The special thing is that MyGovIndia is also part of the short video-sharing platform Roposo to support PM Narendra Modi’s self-reliant India campaign. This app has received more than 50 million downloads on the Google Play Store.
