A few hours before the “Timeflies” Apple event, Best Buy brand Insignia is selling a screen protector for its unreleased “iPhone SE Plus” on its website.
Apple has no plans to announce any iPhones at the Timeflies event, although Best Buy has listed the “iPhone SE Plus” screen protector in its store. Although expected to be released in early 2021, the big iPhone SE has been rumored by Ming-Chi Kuo in the past.
This list is under the Best Buy House brand called Insignia and lists the product as “Clear Screen Protector-Clear for iPhone SE Plus 2020”. The product name does not match the compatibility list as it is listed on the iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 6 Plus.
Best Buy has been producing screen protectors for this size iPhone for half a decade since the release of the iPhone 6 Plus device.
When it is finally released, Apple’s “iPhone SE Plus” is expected to have the same body style as the iPhone 8 Plus. Case and accessories manufacturers release products for unreleased Apple devices and are the first on the market in terms of release.
