Through these tools, users will be able to edit their follower list and similarly archive old tweets to remove them from public view. According to the report of The Hill, a Twitter spokesperson has said that the platform can start testing some of these features from next week itself.
Talking about archived tweets, Twitter can give users the option to hide old tweets after a certain time. With this, the tweets will be visible only to the account holder. No one else. For these tweets, the company can give time options like 30, 60, 90, or after one year. According to a Bloomberg report, this feature is currently in the concept phase.
Now talking about the Removing Followers feature, users will soon be able to remove the followers. Right now this is only possible to do when blocking someone. According to the report, the testing of this feature can start from this month.
Twitter will bring a similar feature, which will allow users to set whether their liked tweets will be seen by a select group, their followers, or everyone. At present, the timeline for its testing has not been told.
One of the features that Twitter is about to test will also be such that users will get the option to remove themselves from a public conversation on Twitter. There is no such option available now. According to the report, testing of this feature can be done by the end of this year.
