Now the new report claims that this feature will work as a Global Voice Message Player in the future. As a result, users can leave the chat window while playing a contact’s voice message and read the message records like a normal music player. We now know that if you want to listen to a voice message, you have to keep it open in the specific chat background, the voice message playback automatically stops when you leave the chat.

The iOS version features the WhatApp Global Voice Message Player feature
The new voice message playback feature has already been noticed in the iOS beta version of WhatsApp (tested). In that case, it is expected that the company will make it available to Android users very soon. According to reports, the Global Voice Message Player will have a pin at the top of the application.
In this, the player will be visible even if the user leaves the chat and opens any section of the app. And users will be able to pause or turn off voice messages at any time. However, this new feature only seems to work in long-term voice messages.
In this context, the WhatsApp voice message playback feature is currently under development. So users will not get the benefit of it now. Once all testing is complete, the company will first introduce this feature for beta testers, as always, before bringing it to the general public.
