In May this year, popular smartphone brand Xiaomi launched a speaker in the Chinese market called XiaoAI Speaker Art, priced at 349 yuan (about 3,600 Indian rupees). This speaker was later introduced in India and Europe as the Mi Smart Speaker, with Google Assistant support as an additional feature. Today, the Chinese tech giant has announced the launch of a battery version of its product.
Specification of XiaoAI Speaker Art Battery Edition
The newly launched XiaoAI Speaker Art Battery Edition has a 4,650 mAh battery. Its battery capacity is identical to the standard variant. The company claims that it can provide up to 8.5 hours of music playback on a full charge. Its speaker quality is the same as the standard variant. For sound output, it has a 2.5-inch 12-watt full-range speaker with two custom bass boosters and DTS sound tuning technology.
Also, the metal body of the speaker has 10,531 sound holes. The speaker is provided with several capacity buttons on the head, which can be used to control music play / pause, volume. The speaker also has 16 million RGB LED strip and dual far-field microphone.
Like the standard model, it can be paired with 2.0 stereo sound and supports LHDC audio format. This speaker is powered by Texas Instruments TAS5805M chipset and has dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 technology. Interestingly, users can take it anywhere they want.
Price and availability of XiaoAI Speaker Art Battery Edition
This new gadget is currently available in the Chinese market. It is priced at 399 yuan (about Rs 4,400). It will go on sale from November 1.
