Once you have changed the password, open the Mail app on your iPhone or iPad again, and check if your emails are synced. Send a test email to yourself to check that it is working fine. Use your multiple accounts to do this or ask a friend to send you an email to check that you are able to receive emails as well. Send them an email and ask them to confirm that they have received it.
