Photos can now be easily sent to Google Photos from Gmail. The company launched the service by adding a ‘save to photos’ button to Gmail. This means you can now save photos in Gmail directly to Photos.
This feature will be available to personal Gmail users, Google Workspace, G Suite Basic, G Suite Business customers in the next few weeks. This feature will only apply to JPEG photos.

Once this feature is available, users will be able to save Gmail photos to Google Photos with one click. The new rules will be implemented in Google Photos from June 1, where unlimited storage of Google photos will be no longer.
This means that from date 1, users will now only get 15 GB free Google Drive space for high-quality photos. Google Photos previously had unlimited space.
