Now Google has shared this information that from this week, users will start getting all the information about vaccine availability and appointments at about 13,000 vaccination centers in the country on three Google products i.e. Google Search, Google Maps, and Google Assistant.
How reliable will this information be?
According to Google’s statement, this information will be collected by real-time data from Kovin API. In this, users will get information about all the issues related to vaccination; How many appointment slots are available at each vaccination center, which vaccine will be available, for which dosage you can go there, what will be the cost of the vaccine as well as the link of the Cowin website on which you can book the slot. Google says that it will continue to be connected to Kovin’s team and will continue to deliver the right information to the users.

Google’s statement also clarified how different users of the country can find this information on Google Search, Google Maps, and Google Assistant. As soon as users search on Google by entering the name of ‘vaccination centers near me’ or the area around them, all the information related to vaccination will appear on the screen of their phone or laptop. Also, Google has tried to make this initiative more user-friendly. Users can find all this information in English as well as in eight other Indian languages, namely, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Marathi.
