WhatsApp joined Google Pay, Paytm in the fight for digital transactions in India late last year. The company launched their payment service, WhatsApp Pay, in India in November 2020 after facing multiple regulatory hurdles. Since then, the company has been working hard to improve the service by adding new features. According to a recent report from WABetaInfo, the company is currently testing a new add-on feature called Payments Information, which will help users get all the details of all payments made through WhatsApp Pay. It may be available on iOS and Android in the future, but no exact date has been set yet.
This new feature will work just like the WhatsApp Request Personal Information feature. Using it, WhatsApp Pay users will be able to create a report of all the information and settings of all their payments. The report will be generated within an hour and will be available for download within the user’s app. The user will need his own CPF to access this report, and it will also contain data from WhatsApp LLC, Facebook Pagamentos do Brasil Ltda, Facebook Inc.

WhatsApp, on the other hand, recently rolled out a new update for its iOS app, adding two new features. The first of these two features is the introduction of larger photo and video previews, which will allow the user to quickly view any content without opening it. Another feature is that now all members of a group can access the settings of disappointing messages; From now on, they will be able to change the group name and description in the same way.
