WhatsApp will have to go through a government investigation

In addition to the court, WhatsApp will also have to be investigated by the central government. According to Toy’s report, the Indian government has launched an investigation into WhatsApp’s new policy. The government is gathering more information about this case. High-level talks are underway with the IT ministry. In that case, the government can immediately call WhatsApp to question it. It should be noted that there are currently no data protection laws in India. The Data Protection Bill has not yet been passed by Parliament. In that case, it would take time for the bill to become law.
